https://www.authoressnlhudson.com Good Morning, I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was so-so. I've been under the weather the past two days. Now, I'm feeling a lot better. So, to jump right in, I wanted to discuss the literary world. I was on social media, and I read this status where someone said what they were tired of reading the same type of stories. I can somewhat relate because some stories are the same, and what I mean by that is some of the books have similar storylines. Now, that's not uncommon as there are some alike mines in the world. Therefore, some stories will be the same, primarily if you write in the same genre. However, you one have to think outside of the box. Take, for instance, my stories have an Urban setting, but they're not just about drug dealers, clothing, money, jewelry, or typical things that you may read about in some books. My stories consist of love, family, work ethics, forgiveness, betrayal, and real everyday life situations

Author Interview-N.L. Hudson

Good Morning! This morning I wanted to share with you guys the interview that I recently completed. The interviewer was Marilyn Brown, CEO, of Slyce Book club and OGPublication. Below, you'll be able to get a peek into my life a little. I hope you guys enjoy! 1.)WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN AUTHOR? • My husband had been trying for a while to get me to complete a book, but honestly, I didn’t know if I could or not. However, the opportunity presented itself when I went on my maternity leave late, last year. I’m not sure what it was, but something just gave me the courage to go ahead and complete one of the stories that I’d had in my head for a while. Once I finished my manuscript, I contacted several small publishers; all of which I heard back from, except for one. At that point, I prayed about it, talked it over with my husband and the rest of my family, and then I made my decision. The publisher I chose then, is the same one that I’m still with now- Natavia Presents.

I apologize for that! However, I'm here to deliver now. This scene that I'm about to bring to you, is from Paisley, the main female character. She's just sold her first home, and she's really excited about the commission check that was received from the sale. Unfortunately, something happens around that same time that takes all the joy away from her first experience. Below, you'll get to see firsthand the tragedy that changes Paisley's perception of her parents. Get ready to tune in. Also, if you haven't read book 1 yet, it's available on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble.com, and of course, my website;  https://www.authoressnlhudson.com . I'm currently

https;//www.authoressnlhudson.com Good Morning Everyone, So, I know that we talked about me giving a sneak peek of my upcoming novel. Well, I promise to do that later this evening. Right now, what I want to discuss is my newest novel that is out. It is titled, All I Ever Wanted Was to Stay Down for You. The novel is a spin off of one of my standalone novels, titled, All I Ever Wanted Was a Love Like Yours. What the story is about is a young couple by the name of Vic and Micah. They've just gotten together about two years prior, and each are basically struggling with their new relationship. Initially, the two were broken from past experiences; therefore, it was hard to trust one another from the beginning. But after they decided to get into the relationship, both Vic and Micah chose to wipe their slates clean. Unfortunately, someone from Vic's past shows up and causes problems for the young couple. Not to mention, that he's also feeling a little smothered with his new r

Good Morning, So, I wanted to dive right in today. Currently, I'm working on a finale to a 2 book series. What the story is about is a young married couple, Nahir and Paisley. They've been together for two years and married for four at the time of the novel. Well, they seem to have this great relationship. The two support each other with their business endeavors, they host parties, and they have date nights, and they just love each other. But then, tragedy strikes with Paisley. Her father, who is like the apple of her eye has been caught cheating on her mother. Paisley's parents have been married for thirty years, so she is devastated to learn that her father has stepped out on the seemingly perfect relationship that he's had. So, Paisley she sort of has a breakdown; the life as she knew it felt as though it was over. During her depression stage, Paisley turns to her own husband for a shoulder to lean on. Initially, she had his support, but after a while, it becom
